While the initial construction dates back to the 13th century, the current structure is of 18th century origin.
The facade overlooking the piazza features a flowing balcony decorated with the image of a Madonna with Child and the town’s patron saints, Cassiano and Pier Crisologo.
The main
floor is a gem. Here, in 1777, Giacomo Zampa and Alessandro Della Nave
decorated the vaults of the Magistrate’s Apartment, drawing on themes
related to good governance, as depicted by allegorical figures of Justice,
Prudence and Wisdom.
