Mordano Town Walls

Tracts of the Renaissance walls are still visible near the Two Towers.

Visitors will also note the remains of a tower with a round foundation, which Caterina Sforza had built to shield the castle. It was based on instructions and drawings provided by Leonardo da Vinci, who had been invited to the Sforza court in Romagna to make structural improvements to the fortresses there.
