Manusardi Park and Villa

Built by the Casalese Biffi family, this 19th century villa is located near Casalfiumanese town hall. Ownership later passed to a noble family of Lombard origins who would stay here in summer, overseeing the vineyards that covered their lands.

The Villa is surrounded by the Parco Manusardi, a splendid park that provides a verdant natural stage for local events.

The building, which features a neoclassical layout, was later acquired by the municipality and is now home to a library, nursery school and music school. 

According to a local legend - concocted to stop youngsters venturing into the Villa grounds at night, back when it was still private property - the ghost of Doctor Biffi appears on horseback (naked!) to chase off any intruders.
