Imola
The 6 Hours of Imola is the second round of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), scheduled for 19-21 April 2024. The Enzo and Dino Ferrari racetrack has already hosted endurance races: in 2011 a round of the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup, forerunner of the WEC, and from 2013 to 2016 the European Le Mans Series, an event that returned last year and will also be present in 2024.
Going even further back over the years, in 1984 the Autodromo was the scene of a stage of the World Sport Prototype Championship, the 1000 KM of Imola, won by the Germans Hans-Joachim Stuck and Stefan Bellof, driving the Porsche 956 B.
The race will be thrilling due to the renewed challenge between Toyota and Ferrari (winner of the last 24h of Le Mans) and to attend the debut of new prestigious brands such as Lamborghini, BMW and Isotta Fraschini.
