Imola welcomes the grand finale of the Giro d'Italia Women 2025

It will be the Autodromo Enzo and Dino Ferrari of Imola to welcome Sunday 13 July the last exciting stage of the Giro d'Italia women 2025, the most prestigious appointment of the national women's cycling calendar. An arrival that represents not only a great sporting occasion for the city, but also a symbolic moment of the path that the Municipality of Imola has undertaken to enhance the role of women in sport and society. 

Thanks to the participation and financing of the “Bici in Comune” (Bikes in the City) announcement, promoted by the Minister for Sport and Youths with the support of the Department of Sport, Imola has focused on cycling, sustainable mobility and female empowerment, with a series of initiatives including one dedicated to the promotion of the role of women in cycling on the occasion of the final stage of the Giro.

The initiative featured female cycling athletes who have a strong relationship with the territory, who told their relationship with cycling through video pills. The video pills will be broadcast on the official channels of the Municipality on the occasion of the arrival of the Giro, to testify the value of the practice of sport as an instrument of growth, inclusion and self-determination.

The Municipality of Imola invites all citizens to participate and support the protagonists of this great event, in an ideal relay between past, present and future of cycling and women's sport.

Appointment at the Autodromo from 11.00 a.m., to see the athletes in the first passages after 12.00 noon

Arrival expected around 2.30 p.m. with prize-giving on the podium in Piazza Senna.

The whole event will be broadcast live on RAI television.
