Ingredients:
Chestnuts,
Rhum Agricol – Giamaica.
Preparation (easy- 30 min):
Cook chestnuts at bright fire or in the oven.
Peel them and put into a pot.
Add in proportions 1,5 kg sugar for 10 kg of chestnuts.
Pour the rhum to cover the chestnuts.
Put the pot on the flame and mix slowly when rhum starts boiling.
Take away from the flame and continue mixing.
Flame rhum and mix until the flame naturally expires.
Chilled for some minutes then pour the chestnuts in jars of glass.
Add rhum to fill up the jars.
