Ingredients (for 6 people):

3 kg apricots,
800g sugar,
400g water,
1,5 lt sweet Albana,
4 cloves,
1 piece of cinnamon.


Preparation (easy):
Wash the apricots and allow them to dry. After halving them, remove the stone, place them in the jar and cover with syrup. Syrup is prepared putting some water to boil with sugar. Remove from the heat and add sweet Albana with a rather high alcohol content, lemon rind, cloves and a piece of cinnamon. When cold, filter the syrup through a cloth and pour it over the fruit. Close the jar, sterilize with a bain-marie and store in a cool and dark place at least 2-3 months before consumption.
