Colli d’Imola Rosso D.O.C.

Regional Designation of Origin

The Colli d'Imola Rosso designation is attributed to wine produced with red grape coming from one or more non aromatic vine varieties grown within the same farm property. They should be recommended or authorized in the province of Bologna. Colli d'Imola Rosso is a ruby-red wine with garnet reflections if it is aged. The smell is winy and intense; the taste can be dry, semi-sweet or sweet. The total minimum alcohol content is 11.5° and it should be served at 18°C. Rosso is a blend of the typical Sangiovese grape with more recent international vine varieties such as Cabernet and Merlot. The Riserva version is aged at least 18 months.
