Works in wrought iron
Thanks to the master Natale Salieri, Castel San Pietro came into limelight for works in wrought iron at the end of 19th century.
In tha main square you can still see its works.
Another famous master was Casadio Loreti.
Products: Windows and gates in wrought iron, fancy goods.
Area of production: Castel San Pietro Terme.
Company: Some craftsmen still works in the area, but nothing compared to Salieri's works.
Evidences: In piazza XX Settembre, in front of the Sanctuary, there are two streetlights by Salieri. In piazza Acquaderni, there is one by Casadio Loreti.
In the ancient thermal spring, the wrought iron gazebo by Salieri is still preserved.
