How to get to Imola.
The theatre is situated in downtown.
From the highway, follow the signs to Centro storico (historical center) or to Teatro comunale (theatre).
From the railway station, go straight to te clock tower, then turn right in Via Emilia and go on for 500 metres. You will find the theatre on your right.

Characterization: Nineteenth-century theater created by restoring the upper church of San Francesco, with three tiers of boxes and a gallery above for a capacity of 499 seats.
It also houses an elegant room called "Ridotto" with a capacity of 200 seats, used for chamber music concerts and conventions.
Facilities: bar; cloakroom.
Program: The theater is home to the traditional prose theater season from October to April, the concert season organized by the Circle of Music, a dialect and amateur theatre festival, theater for schools and other artistic events.
