It was in 1970 when, happily in love, we decided to take on this extraordinary challenge.

First of all by carrying-on our parents family business of Bar-Tobacconist’s.

Very soon we discovered our love and passion for the Culinary Arts and so, with the help of our families, we dedicated ourselves and our free time to studying what would meet and satisfy most, the expectations of our ever increasing number of guests.

Thus ,we learnt the basis of the Art of Hospitality and that of the Culinary Arts. Finally, we realized that our premises had become too small and so, we decided to buy first, a plot of land and a building on the opposite side of the village, then the large 17th century Villa belonging to Countess Cannonieri, also in the village of Mordano.

The 20th June 1982 saw the opening of the Restaurant dining-rooms in the renovated Villa, with the first of many beautiful wedding functions, and also a small Annexe with eight bedrooms, all of which we had furnished in the classical style.

Each year we have added something new : a Gazebo, a Terrace, another Annexe with ten bedrooms and a Meeting Room housed in a desecrated ancient chapel. The strongpoint which characterizes and ,to this day, distinguishes the Family is the participation of our three daughters;Angela, Maddalena and Michela, who have enabled us to enclose in this one place, an environment rich in charm and a sense of relaxation, maintaining that particular attention reserved for each individual guest.
