Romagna's Chalk Vein Regional Park features a spectacular natural moon-like cliff, rich in caves, underground passages and fascinating paths.

The 15-km long selenite chalk chain overlooks the Santerno Valley offering breath-taking views to hikers.

Borgo Tossignano houses "The Chalk Vein and the River" Visitors' Centre where chalk and limestone specimens are kept along with a collection of ancient farming tools.

It also runs workshops on nature and the environment.
