The parish church of S.Maria in Villa Fontana is in the center of the hamlet, in the main square.

It dates back to the Middle Age, but it underwent several modifications until the '50s of 1900.

The church has a pink marble facade with white Carrara marble statues and a mosaic depicting the Nativity of Mary in the lunette of the portal.

On the left side there's a beautiful bell tower of 1650.

The interior has three naves and it reflects the style typical of the 16th-17th centuries.
In addition to the main altar, it has three altars on each side with interesting paintings of 17th and 18th centuries and several works of contemporary bolognese sculptors.
