The parish church of Bubano is in the old stables of Caterina Sforza's Fortress.
The church is dedicated to the Nativity of the Virgin Mary.
The church now has a single nave and two chapels on each side and four side altars.
Beside the high altar there are two compartments: the one on the right contains an organ built in 1878, and it has a space for the choir; the left one is larger and faces on the sacristy.
Two large vaults joined at the center of the Church by two groups of pilasters mark the ceiling of the nave; thin pilasters define also four side chapels.
Four columns with a circular base support the dome with lanterns above the high altar.
The nave ends in a rectangular room where there is the large painting depicting Pope St. Eleuterio before the Madonna with the Child.
Pope Pius IX donated the painting by Manaresi from Imola, when he was the Bishop of Imola, during restoration work in 1885.
