The memorial hangs on the main wall of the Municipal Residence. The memorial is rectangular and has a circular bas-relief with the face of Andrea Costa.
It has the following inscription:
"In the history of human fraternity - Christ
in the philosophy of rights and duties - Mazzini
in faith, that gives courage and audacity, Spartaco
Andrea Costa summarised all this -
Supported by the working society of mutual help, he integrated
the Municipality of Castel S. Pietro of Emilia
remembered by the new generations, he represents for them an example of faith
courage - honesty, sacrifice."
The memorial was hung in 1918, on his death, as a sign of remembrance for his work and cultural, human and patriotic efforts.

How to get to Castel San Pietro Terme
You can reach the memorial entering the town centre by Via Matteotti and stopping in Piazza XX Settembre.
On April 25th and November 4th, during commemorative celebrations, a laurel wreath is placed at the foot of the memorial.
