World War II Fallen Soldiers Plaque

 

The plaque commemorating the Soldiers Fallen in World War II is on the Town Hall front wall. It has a rectangular shape and bears the inscription:

"The Municipality to its glorious citizens fallen for their country in the 1940-1945 war"

Then the names of 170 fallen citizens follow.

"Citizens fallen in the liberation war for the country's Independence 1944.1945"

Then the names of 33 fallen citizens follow.

The plaque was set in place just after the end of World War II, on the occasion of the anniversary of the end of the war. to commemorate the soldiers from Castel San Pietro terme fallen in the war.

On April 25th and on the first sunday of november a celebration takes place with laurel wreaths, patriotic songs and a short speech by a representant of the liberation struggle Provincial Commitee.
