The plaque commemorating the fallen in World War I is on the front wall of the Town Hall. It has a rectangular shape and bears the following inscription (here translated into English):
"The municipality to its glorious fallen for the country in the 1915-1918 war"
and the the names of 214 fallen citizens of Castel San Pietro Terme follow.
The plaque was set in place in 1919, on the occasion of the first celebration of the end of the war, to remember the town's citizens fallen in the war.

How to get to Castel San Pietro Terme
The plaque is on the Town Hall front wall, in Piazza XX Settembre (XX Settembre Square).
On the occasion of the celebrations for April 25th and for the first Sunday of November, a laurel wreath is placed at the foot of the plaque.
