Devil Bridge in Gallo Bolognese

The bridge has Roman origins because of the passage of Gaiana Stream, which crosses Via Emilia (S.S.9) in Gallo Bolognese.

It was mined and destroyed at the end of Second World War.

However, there are several postcards and images left, and a bas-relief commissioned by the Archaeological Board before the war.

The name of the bridge derives from the popular belief according to which particularly strange esoteric beings were present in this building.
