It is a round fountain with circular water spurts.
In 1963 it was given as a present to the thermal town by the provincial tourism board. Until the Seventies, especially in summer evenings, it shone thanks to lights of different colours and that is the reason why today, even though this characteristic is no longer present, it is still defined as "shining".

How to get to Castel San Pietro Terme
The Fountain is located in the so called "Montagnola" area, where the long thermal avenue that links the town centre and the thermal building and golf club begins.
The Fountain is located next to the green Lungo Sillaro Park , but also to the pinewood of the elementary and middle schools, as well as to the "Sarti" crèche and nursery. Around the fountain there are benches and flowerbeds where many people use to gather, especially from spring to autumn.
