Bell Tower of the Holy Crucified Sanctuary

The bell tower features a massive basement surmounted by a floor with three-light windows and large windows with balconies.
It is crowned by a small dome with clear-coloured ribs standing out against the brickwork covering.
The ground floor houses a pneumatic system which operates the tower's main attraction, a set of 55 bells.
Hung at different levels, bells were cast by the Brighenti firm from Bologna on a project by Giulio Gollini. A 33-bell carillon was inaugurated in 1930 together with the bell tower. In 1934 other 22 bells were added.
A group of local young people oversees the partly restored carillon. For a few decades, it has periodically spread its harmonious and unique tolling all over the town.
