The church has been rebuilt in 1923 to replace the church of Montecerere.
It's few kilometres far from the center of the town, on a promontory that dominates Santerno Valley.

Follow the sign-roads for Sassoleone (or Town Stadium).
The church can be found two kilometres after San Martino in Pedriolo and it rises on a small headland on the right.
