The Church is one of the most important monuments of Castel San Pietro Terme.
It presents a 18th century architecture, paintings from famous authors, marbles, brass and wrought iron gates made by local master craftsmen.
The church was built stating from 1200, simultaneously to the Keep, and was probably completed in 1209.
It presents a rectangular shape primitive.
The largest chapel of the church is dedicated to the Blessed Virgin of the Rosary. It was erected in 1649-50, and divided from the nave of the church by a wrought iron gate built in 1776.
The tower was built in 1364.
Inside there are now four bells cast in 1828 weighing about 18 tons.

The church is located on Via Matteotti, within walking distance from Piazza XX Settembre and the Sanctuary of the Crucified.
Inside the church during the Christmas period, you can admire a beautiful crib terracotta work of Cleto Tomba, who, in addition to the Nativity, is life moments and characters of the last century.
