Palazzo Comunale -Town Hall
The Town Hall, the seat of the Municipality of Dozza, is in front of the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption and next to the main square, Piazza Zotti. The Town Hall is an ancient building which underwent extensive restoration along the centuries. Its Justice Hall was said to be frescoed by Marco Palmezzano. Today, only a Renaissance loggia overlooking Via XX Settembre is left. Before being restored, the façade features an impressive a pillared balcony. The present façade dates back to the 20th century. A room on the ground floor houses the historical and municipal archives which include 10th century documents.

How to get to Dozza;
Turn left at the junction for Dozza and run along Via Calanco which takes the name of Via XX Settembre when you enter the village.
From Bologna, follow the highroad Emilia and turn right at the junction.
