Religious Community of Visitandine Sisters

The Order of Visitandine Sisters, founded in Budrio in 1883, arrived in
Castel San Pietro 16 October 1915 in order to work in parish activities, the catechism and education to young people.

Visitandine Sisters soon became a reference point in the educational landscape of the city, especially at the professional level, with the School of embroidery and sewing for the girls and the Institute of less masterful.

In 1929, the Institute was equipped with a new building, most part of which was destroyed during the war.

It was rebuilt with great compassion and willingness. The Institute has enriched and qualified over the years, and educational addresses have changed according to the need of the city and the productive sector in which the institute is involved.

Currently it houses the Visitandine Sisters Middle School, five years of the Professional Services business, the School of Communication St. Pius X and a Five-Year course to address social experiment.
