Villa Torano is on the low hills to the west of Imola in a panoramic position.
It was built in 1622 on the will of Cardinal Ferdinando Millini, as summer residence of the bishops of Imola.
The complex was restored in the XIX century by Bishop Cardinal Antonio Rusconi, maintaining a neoclassic style.
