Palazzo Miti Zagnoni then Raffi

The present building consists of three different bodies dating back to the end of the 15th century, which were joined around 1650. A façade was also built to give some uniformity to the complex.
The Miti and Zagnoni families (who inhabited the building) restored and embellished the interior. Worth mentioning are the three frescoed rooms on the first floor dating back to the end of the 17th century.

The first one features a 17th century fireplace supported by caryatids and a fresco with mythological scenes.

The second room's ceiling is decorated by an oval-framed fresco celebrating the Miti family.

The third one houses a smaller fresco portrait of a sleeping girl and some verses from The Song of Songs.

Address: via Emilia, 44 - 40026 Imola (BO)
