Palazzo Codronchi Marchi

Palazzo Marchi (former Palazzo Codronchi) underwent several changes since the 18th century.

It is a compact building dating back to the 15th century. The façade overlooking Via San Pier Grisologo underwent less changes and stands out for a cornice supported by corbels shaped like horse heads.  The building houses interesting fireplaces.

The main hall on the first floor contains a fireplace with a sculptured kneeling Hercules and a 17th century fresco depicting "The Rape of Ganymede".

The frescoed ceilings of the adjoining rooms are by Angelo Gottarelli, a pounter from Imola and date back to 1792.
