The Sanctuary is a red brick building which rises vertically.
It was built in 1973, designed by the architect Lullini and it's dedicated to the Virgin of Mercy.
The cult of the Virgin has its origins from the veneration of the miraculous image found in 1968 in Ghiandolino.

How to get to Imola
It's placed on the hills of Imola.
From the tollgate follow the directions for Forlì-Rimini.Exiting from Imola, after having passed the Ponte Vecchio, keep to the right into Via dei Colli and take the first on the left, Via Bergullo.
You'll find the Sanctuary after 6 chilometres on the left.
